About Me

I believe that all children are individuals. There is no one approach that works...children with autism need highly individualised child centred intervention. We can't fit a child into a method or programme, the intervention must fit the child and fit them well.

I am a qualified GTCS registered Primary teacher, Montessori Teacher and early years specialist with a Masters in Autism and Education, currently studying for my Professional Doctorate.

I work across the age and ability range, although I specialise in the preschool age group.

I have a wide variety of training and experience in a range of interventions including developmental/ play based approaches, drama and music therapy, behavioural intervention (VB and PRT) and intensive interaction.

I am trained in the use and implementation of augmentative communication systems including PECs and am proficient in BSL and Makaton.

I work closely with families and schools across the UK providing a child centred approach to support, teaching and intervention.
